    Run LovIT 100, February 2024

I'm a flatlander that loves a good challenging race with some climbs. My goal entering every race is to never quit for anything other than missing a cutoff. Whenever things get bad I remind myself that I'm not a quitter, that I will keep going until someone tells me I can't go anymore.

Rim to River 100, November 2022

The 100 mile distance was never on my radar until life turned upside down and I was asked to be part of this project. WHMP offered me the training, knowledge, and confidence to complete the distance…with 47 seconds to spare. Although I completed Rim to River, the friendships I have made are worth far more than the 100 miles.

  • Micki Colson

    Hennepin 100, October 2023

After a freak accident requiring surgery to remove part of my quad in 2022, I wondered if I'd ever be able to run again, let alone finish my goal of completing a 100 miler. The WHMP plan and exercises got me across the finish line healthy and injury free. (other than my feet but that's on me- working on that!)

    Umstead 100, April 2024

I finally finished Umstead 100 after DNFing last year. It was out of that DNF that I founded TUFF Run Club as a way to keep myself accountable to my training. It was accidental that a small FB group I created with a few of my run buds turned into a full blown club, but it did. We have 600 members and many of them helped support me in my race as crew, pacers, and cheerleaders. I'm proud that something beautiful was born out of my DNF

    Leadville 100, 2023

This was my second 100 miler and I learned so much! I had the best crew/family there with me and I couldn't have done it without their support.

Ghost Train 30 Hour 100 Mile Race

Ghost train is my first 100 miler attempt. I wasn't sure if I can finish at the start and was under-trained. But the strength work and foot care video from whmp helped me to achieve the goal. Thanks whmp!

  • Felicia Fago

    Burning River 100, July 2022

After three failed attempts to complete the 100 mile distance, I was successful at this race. Of course, it was after I joined the Women’s 100 Mile Project. The training plan works!! And the sisterhood makes it more fun. 😁

  • Debbie Connelly-Blain

    Vernal Equinox, April 2023

Rain, wind and mud could not stop me! 29 hours and 5 min of fun, mud, and determination. And the best crew ever! Shout out to Tina Gary for her encouragement and support!!

  • Cat Delheimer

    Potawatomi, April 2022

Crossing the finish line was the most amazing feeling of accomplishment that still sticks with me today!

  • Jenny Buley

    Dark Anchor 100, January 2024

When I ran my first 5k in 2020, I never DREAMED that I would be celebrating my 51st birthday by attempting and completing (!!!) a 100 mile run. I knew it would be really hard… it was really REALLY hard 😂. It cemented in my brain, and in my heart, that ANYTHING truly is possible ❤️

  • Jessica Loudermilk

    Umstead 100, April 2024

This was my first 100, and I got a lot of great tips from the WHMP site. I really had issues with a strained hip flexor the killed my time goal and forced me to pivot to just grinding it out under the time cutoff. It taught me so much about persevering and I’ll treasure this finish forever!

  • Penny Williams

    Badger 100, July 2021

My husband, George, paced me my last 10 miles , keeping me upright and telling me how proud he was. I was so excited to hug the RD , Scotty Kummer and received my buckle , shedding some tears of joy

    Update: Badger 100, August 2024

This was my second Badger finish. Was in much better shape , thanks WH100 coaches , my race and recovery was so much better after following the training

  • Janet Cunningham

    Burning River 100, July 2023

Here's what I have to say about Ohioans- they are freaking for real! We started the race with lightning and ran through so much mud. Hiking on the trail that day, I came across a woman who was wearing a shirt repping WHMP... And I was so excited to tell her that at the 50 mile Mark I was changing into my own WHMP tank top! This race was the culmination of my strongest running, mere weeks before a run stop injury. Having my children crew me and run me in when I felt I could go no further, was the most amazing... Living life with no regrets!

  • Emily Faeth

    Mohican 100, June 2023

Barely anyone in my town has even heard of ultra running let alone 100 miles so I didn’t get much local support. I read everything I could, learned as much as I could. I started consistently running in 2021, building until 2023 for a successful finish of Mohican 100. I am grateful for my family for giving me time to train, and pacers who knew just what I needed. Never let anyone tell you that it isn’t realistic, that you can’t do it, because yes you can!

  • Julie Bell

    Cherry Springs 100, April 2024

You can do anything you set your mind to! After back surgery 8 years ago, I was told I'd be lucky to run a few miles again. 2 years ago, I decided to focus building up milage very slowly and consistently on trails (off road), with added focus on cross/strength training. A year later, I completed my 1st 50k, and my 1st hundred miler the next year! I don't plan to stop any time soon either. WHMP plan has been so helpful!

  • Traci Keeton

Double top Stone Anvil, April 2024

I had the best time Brad and Perry and the Hard Ass Events volunteers were wonderful.

  • Ali Lopez

    Vermont 100, July 2024

Attempting my first 100 miler at age 62 and finishing it was truly an amazing experience. The WHMP training plan was so incredibly helpful as I HATE following plans, but somehow the flexibility yet structure of the plan worked for me. The emphasis on strength work and time on feet vs. distance training. Although my nutrition blew up on race day, I still finished and hopefully next time will get it right!

  • Meg Clark 100 Miler Finish

    Meg Clark

I flew to Savannah solo & loved every minute of Jason Green’s 34 hr event in Wormsloe Park. 3-1/2 mile loops, 31 hr finish. My 2nd hundred, but not last!

  • Michelle Christopher

    Wyoming Endurance, August 2024

This was my second finish of this race, second time using the WHMP plan. Each time I learned something new, like using poles to support going to the bathroom. I’m humbled by the support of my family, crew and the people who put on these events. Who gives up their weekends to feed strangers gummies and Oreos?

  • Beth Beaulieu

    East Fork 100, August 2024

First 100 miler! Could not have done it without the amazing program WHMP has. I followed the training program, runs and strength. It was a key component for my finish. Awesome turn out of ladies from the Project who ALL were instrumental in my completion. I cannot say enough wonderful things about WHMP. I am eternally grateful!

  • Alicia Fitzgerrel

    East Fork 100, August 2024

I trained for 2 years to be able to finish a 100 miler, and after a couple failed attempts I finally made it. Brutal heat and a tough but beautiful course with amazing volunteers and race directors, highly recommend! Thank you WHMP for all your training plans and help in getting it done, loved meeting you at the race as well. DFL!

  • Thea Textor

    Hennepin 100, 2023

So happy to share these miles with friends and amazing what you can do when you keep going. Had some highs (crossing the last bridge at appx mile 98 and getting hopeful) and lows (after sunset I was so grateful for company and our fearless pacer because I got a little tired and bleh) and just grateful for this ride!

  • Melissa Molvik

    Washington Yeti 100, June 2024

So proud to join the badass list of ladies who have accomplished their goal of running 100 miles! It took a while to mentally, physically, and emotionally unpack the whole experience, and I've come to the conclusion that it is pretty much unexplainable. Everyone may come away with a different racing experience, but I feel we all come away with some form of self growth, wisdom, and sense of accomplishment!

  • Rebecca Vasey

Front Range Ultra Days, August 2024

This was my first 100 mile finish tha I am super proud of. The first 50 miles I ran with my legs, the next 25 I ran with intentions and purpose knowing I could do hard things and the last 25 I ran with my heart. Thankful for all the people in my life that encouraged and supported me. As I crossed the finish line, I had a great big smile knowing I accomplished something great and that I never gave up on myself.
