The Training

So what can you expect by becoming a member of The Women’s 100 Miler Project?

The Women's 100 Miler Project Training Plan

A approach designed to fit every runner, regardless of experience level. Crafted by seasoned ultrarunner, Lee Conner.

What Sets Our Plan Apart:

  • It’s Customizable: Whether you’re a newbie eager to complete your first 100 miler or a seasoned runner aiming to improve, our plan is adaptable for you. Adjust the intensity and volume with our self-graduated phases.

  • Well-rounded Approach: More than just logging junk miles, our training plan, which puts emphasis on strength training and injury risk reduction, along with our resources emphasize balanced development. You need more than a whole bunch of running volume to successfully complete a 100 miler. In fact, where most plans get it wrong, is that you don’t actually need a whole bunch of running volume!

  • Experienced Insights: Leverage the combined expertise of ultrarunners who have been where you are. From navigating race day nutrition to pacing strategies, we aim to cover it in the Facebook group, in our podcasts, and in our exclusive resources section that is currently being put together on the website.

  • Community Support: Join an active community of like-minded women. Share experiences, seek advice, and find motivation among peers who are also following the same path to the 100-mile finish line!

  • Affordability: We would have loved to keep this free forever, but let’s face it, a project like this takes time and money to run and that wasn't sustainable. That being said we are dedicated to keeping access to our plan and resources available to all interested women, and for that reason we have a “choose your pricing” system. Got $1.00? Then you have no excuse to not join now, as that is the price of our financial hardship option. This option is on the honor system and we know it’s frequently abused. We’d prefer you pay the recommended price and not take advantage of us if you don’t need that option, but we also just want to get more women to the start line of 100 miler races, it’s our number one passion, so if that’s what it takes, so be it!
